Project History

Center for Applied Research and Environmental Systems (CARES)
  • October 2009-Present: Woody Biomass Availability Tool Project - Project Manager updating the tool developed by CARES that calculates available woody biomass potential plant locations.
  • January 2010-Present: Community Issues Management Project - Developed base data used by local communities to foster more informed decision making on a local level.
  • July 2005-December 2009: Federal Emergency Management Agency Floodplain Project - Project Manager updating Missouri's 100 year floodplain data and create digital floodplain maps as a sub-contractor for FEMA.
  • October 2004-Sept 2005:  Disability Spin Website Project - Project Manager developing a website for people with disabilities to collaborate on resources, accessibility, or socialize at a community level.  The site was self replicating and based upon the Zope/Plone open source mainframe.
  • November 2004-June 2005:  Central Missouri Food Bank Faith Based Initiative Project - Project Manager developing initial datasets and resources for the Food Bank for a 31 county area. 
  • December 2004-June 2005:  Montana Flathead County Mapping Project - Project Manager developing data and assessing economic changes in the county.
  • November 2002-September 2004:  Hypsography Project - Helped develop 1:24000 scale digital contour lines to be used for development of a 10m DEM of the state of Missouri.
