Title:A National Mapping and Reporting System for Y-USA HCIs
Project Description: CARES has built a National Mapping and Reporting System for Y-USA PHCs that builds on the suite of Internet Geographic Information System (GIS) and reporting applications developed at CARES over the past twenty years.
To serve the communities who will be utilizing the Y-GIS platform, CARES will need to maintain and host the system on their IT servers, and pay licensing fees to ESRI, the creator of the GIS engine CARES utilizes.
Project Goals: Provide maintenance, updating, and support for Y-GIS
- CARES will provide all necessary maintenance to keep the Y-GIS platform accessible and functional to PHC communities and YUSA staff
- As new features are added to the base CARES platform, the Y-GIS tool will be updated to include these new features
- CARES will provide technical support to Y-USA staff to assist them in supporting Y-USA’s sites participating in healthier communities initiatives. When CARES is notified of maintenance needs or issues by YUSA staff members, CARES will respond within a maximum of 1 business day with an estimated time of resolution and will provide status updates if the estimated time of resolution is exceeded
